ST BENEDICT’S COLLEGE OLD BOYS’ UNION

NOTICE OF THE 107th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

The 107th Annual General Meeting of St Benedict’s College Old Boys’ Union will be held on Sunday the 26th of June 2011, at the College Hall at 10.30am preceded by Holy Mass at 9.30am.

AGENDA
1.0 Meeting called to order.
2.0 Opening Prayer.
3.0 Welcome address by The President.
4.0 Reading of the Notice convening the meeting.
5.0 Read and confirm the minutes of the 106th Annual General Meeting held on 20th June 2010.
6.0 To consider the Annual report of the OBU Council for the Year 2010/2011.
7.0 To consider and adopt the Audited statement of accounts for the year ended 31st March 2011.
8.0 Variation of Membership Fee.
9.0 Correspondence. (if any)
10.0 Announcement of Vice Patrons.
(Nominated by the President in consultation with the Council)
11.0 Election of Office bearers for the year 2011/2012.

(a) 6 Vice Presidents and Rev Bro Sub Director of St. Benedict’s College EX Officio).
(b) Hon. General Secretary.
(c) Hon. Treasurer.
(d) Hon. Assistant General Secretary.
(e) Hon. Assistant Treasurer.
(f) Hon. Assistant Secretary – Membership.
(g) Hon. Assistant Secretary – Sports.
(h) Hon. Assistant Secretary – Social.
(i) Hon. Assistant Secretary – Overseas.
(j) 24 Council members.

“In terms of rule (6) of the Constitution, Nominations in respect of the above posts of Office Bearers duly proposed and seconded by members eligible to vote at the AGM should reach the Hon. General Secretary on or before 19th June 2011 using independent formats with posts applied for.”

12.0 Appointment of Hon. Auditors.
13.0 Any other business of which due notice has been given.
14.0 Address by the President.
15.0 Vote of Thanks.
