Benedictine to represent Sri Lanka in Karate
SportThe Sri Lanka karate teams took wing to Pujun City in China to participate in the Asian Junior and Senior Karate Tournament.
Players from 48 countries are billed to participate in the event. The players participating from Sri Lanka will include 96 students and 13 senior players.

Anandian, Kasun Aravinda Lokukaluge will lead the Junior Team while Benedictine, W.S.S.D. De Silva has been named as Vice Capt,. Other players participating in the Junior Tournament are, Dhanushka Pahalage (Leeds International School), E.A. Perera (Colombo South International School), Chamara Fernando (Harischandra College, Negombo), K.P.K.P Siriwardene (Isipathana College, Colombo), Sampath Senanayake (Royal College, Colombo), D.R. Dissanayake (Matthumagala Kerawalapitiya Karunarathna- Buddhist MV), P.D.M. Perera (Colombo South International School) and Evons Chathuranga Perera (Colombo South International School)
