Eranga Rathnayake top score of 120 vs Royal‏
SportEranga Rathnayake along with Waruna Fernando and Jason Perera put aspirited fight back for St. Benedict's College to draw the first XIcricket encounter against Royal College played at Read Avenue on 22ndand 23rd October 2010. Eranga came to the rescue with a well timed ton, while Waruna 71 andJason 55 laid the foundation with a valuable 100 runs stand for the4th wicket when Bens came in to bat for the second time with a deficitof 194 Runs.

Eranga who made a top score of 120 including 20 boundaries etched hisname in the record books of having the honour of scoring a centuryagainst Royal after 47 years. The last to achieve that feat was formerSri Lanka cricketer Ranjith Fernando way back in 1963.
