Sponsorship of a Classroom by Old Benedictine Rohan De Silva
|As a token of appreciation, loyalty and solidarity towards our Almar Mater, the fourth donation of Rs. 500,000/- was made by Old Benedictine Rohan De Silva, Chairman and Managing Director of McLarens Shipping Ltd, towards sponsoring a classroom of the building project which will be named Rev. Bro. James Memorial Building on completion.|
The Welfare Society who has undertaken this gigantic project is confident that it will be possible, no doubt, with the generosity of the ever loyal Benedictine fraternity living in Sri Lanka and domiciled abroad and well-wishers.
There are a few more classrooms that are available for sponsorship and the Welfare Society solicit the support of Batches, Groups, Wings and overseas OBU Branches affiliated to St. Benedict’s College to come forward and join in sponsoring a classroom for Rs. 500,000/-. All donations can be handed over to Rev. Bro. Director, or to the Welfare Society Office and an official receipt obtained.
Hence, This call is to you dear loyal Bens, come rally, be generous and support this worthy cause, which will further enable the School to maintain its position as a leading La Sallian educational institution in Sri Lanka and also to provide and maintain the required facilities for the present and future generations who will enter the gateways of St. Benedict’s College.
