SPONSOR A CLASSROOM - A request to all Bens
CollegeA mega project undertaken by the Welfare Society of St. Benedict's College with immense love for the children of St. Benedict's College and for their future.

The main structure of the much needed classroom building project undertaken by the Welfare Society of St. Benedict's College which will be named Rev. Bro. James Memorial Building has been completed.

However, the Welfare Society is in the process of raising further funds to fully complete the building and hand it over to the school by early 2013.

On completion, the building which is been constructed at the former tuck shop area, will comprise a total number of 33,241 square feet, with 16 modern class rooms, two office rooms for sectional heads, well equipped laboratory, two lecture rooms, modern tuck shop, staff lunch room, record room, car porch, roof top and an e- library.

A further fund raising project has been launched by the Welfare Society, where Batches, Groups, Wings and overseas OBU Branches affiliated to St. Benedict’s College, could sponsor a classroom for Rs. 500,000/-. All donations can be handed over to Rev. Bro. Director, or to the Welfare Society Office and an official receipt obtained.

Cheques should be drawn in favour of St. Benedict's College Welfare Society. For further inquiries please contact Mr. Jeremy Adams (President – Welfare Society) on 071-0689011 or Mr. Darrel Ludowyke (Gen, Secretary - OBU) on 0777-414567.

The Welfare Society who has undertaken this gigantic project is confident that it will be possible, no doubt, with the generosity of the ever loyal Benedictine fraternity living in Sri Lanka and domiciled abroad and well-wishers.

Hence, This call is to you dear loyal Bens, come rally, be generous and support this worthy cause, which will further enable the School to maintain its position as a leading La Sallian educational institution in Sri Lanka and also to provide and maintain the required facilities for the present and future generations who will enter the gateways of St. Benedict’s College.
