Benedictine Jason Perera shines as Sri Lanka U19 crush Namibia by 195 runs
SportSri Lanka bounced back from the disappointment of losing their opening round clash to Bangladesh with a clinical showing against qualifier Namibia in the under 19 Cricket World Cup tournament on Monday 13th August in Brisbane, Australia.

Sri Lanka produced a highly competitive score of 298/9 thanks to a brilliant half century by Benedictine Jason Perera who opened the batting and top-scored with 69 (84b, 7x4s) which eventually earned him the Player of the Match.

Jason also made a fluent 25 in the opening match against Bangladesh, where Sri Lanka lost by 25 Runs.

Sri Lanka will play their next match against South Africa at Brisbane on August 15th.
