BENS take on JOES for Mack-Croner Trophy on 20th & 21st Feb
St. Benedict’s College will play their 6th cricket encounter for the Mack-Croner Trophy with traditional rivals St. Joseph’s College, Colombo on 20th & 21st February 2015 at St Joseph's College ( Darley Road). Request Benedictines young and old to rally and support our Bens at this traditional encounter.

Bens U-13 win 3rd place play-off
St. Benedict’s U-13 Hockey team beat Ananda College, Colombo (1-0) to win the 3rd place play-off in the All Island Under 13 hockey tournament worked off at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy from 12th to 14th November 2010.

It was in the school's second term match Vs St. Anne's Kurunegala that Lionel was to inscribe his name in letters of gold in not only cricketing statistics but also I believe in the Guinness Book of records and Ripley's "Believe it or not" by capturing all ten wickets in St. Anne's first innings and rub more salt into their wounds by compiling a masterful 204 not out in St. Benedict's reply of 342 for 6 wickets declared.
